PROTECTING YOUR PROPERTY
We utilize plywood and tarps to safeguard your property, including railings and plants, from any potential damage.
Step 1: Circle Up
At GV Roofs, our diligent crew arrives promptly at your location, exuding a professional demeanor. Prior to their arrival, our production team coordinates logistics, including designated parking areas to prevent any disruptions. On-site, the GV Roofs crew assembles to adhere to the On-Site Respect Plan, an all-encompassing protocol that underscores our commitment to treating your property with the utmost respect. This plan encompasses ground protection using tarps and plywood, bin placement, and safety measures to ensure the well-being of everyone on-site.
Step 2: Climb Up
At GV Roofs, our approach to roofing varies depending on the task at hand, whether it’s repair, maintenance, installation, or replacement. Safety is paramount, and we start by securing our crew with anchors, ropes, and harnesses. We then either remove the existing roof or apply the initial waterproofing layer. Next, we install a waterproofing membrane around vulnerable areas like vents, valleys, chimneys, and skylights. Finally, we expertly lay down the chosen roofing material, which could be shingles, torch-on, metal, or cedar shakes, along with necessary finishing touches.
Step 3: Clean Up
Lastly, our commitment extends to thorough site cleanup, which is as crucial to us as the rest of the job. We adhere to the highest standards, leaving no room for compromise. Our cleanup process includes the removal of all debris and trash, meticulous gutter cleaning, and the retrieval of scraps from the surrounding ground and vegetation. To ensure absolute safety, we conduct two sweeps of the property using a magnetic roller to pick up any loose metal or nails. We conclude with a final walk-around to guarantee that we’re leaving the site in pristine condition.
